Today's young people are growing up in a digital world where online risks evolve faster than awareness. From online predators and grooming to AI-generated deception, cyberbullying, scams, and digital exploitation, many youth encounter threats before they have been taught how to recognize or respond to them.

S.A.F.E.R.™ was created to help change that.

What S.A.F.E.R.™ Covers​

S — Safety

Recognizing online predators, grooming behaviors, scams, and other digital threats while learning how to report concerns and seek help.

A — AI Awareness

Understanding artificial intelligence, deepfakes, voice cloning, fake profiles, AI-generated relationships, and how AI can be misused to manipulate or deceive.

F — Foundations of Digital Literacy

Building essential digital skills, including digital footprints, online privacy, responsible social media use, critical thinking, and evaluating online information.

E — Empowerment

Developing healthy digital habits, understanding the effects of social media, preventing cyberbullying, and creating healthy digital boundaries.

R — Readiness

Knowing how to respond to online threats, preserve personal safety, report concerns, support others, and make informed decisions online.

Youth Ages 11–13 (Grades 6–8)
